Fedora Core 4, x86-64, all updates performed (1 week old install). Latest version of Webin/Usermin. I'm a complete Linux mega-noob.
I'm trying to use SSL with Server/Usermin. I tried getting Webmin to install the Net:SLeay module, but it didn't work and said I should do it manually. I figured out which version of perl I was using, got lost on trying to figure out the version of perl that was used to write the module, said screw it and tried installing the most recent version. Start laughing: it didn't work and the I have NO idea what went wrong. SOOoo I tried to install Stunnel (Webmin documentation cites this as a work around since my idiocy isn't isolated). Well, I entered: yum install stunnel (I'm mystified at what that translates to) and it looked like it did something. I checked the /etc folder and found an empty folder (using FC's File Manager/Browser thingy) called Stunnel. Yet, Webmin's Stunnel module has nada in it. nothing. only thing to click is a config button that wanted to know the default path to the stunnel executable. It was set to /usr/blablablah... so I changed that to /etc/stunnel. Restarted Webmin, still nothing in the Stunnel module.
