Extract DB through SSH?

Hello,

I have a backup of a DB that is to big to upload through phpmyadmin and cPanel. I was wondering if there was any easy way of restoring the DB besides copying and pasting the SQL. We have the DB on our server locally.

My host suggested uploading the SQL backup through SSH and extractingit manually. What would the commands be for this?

CentOS 3.4 - cPanel/WHM
