Solaris 10 x86 - "Best Practices"

I recently installed Solaris 10 on a spare server I had. I am now looking to learn more about it and how it all works. I have a large amount of experience with Linux and FreeBSD and want to move twords Solaris. I am slowely starting to catch on but now have a question. What are some "best practices" on keeping the system up to date. I havent noticed a program to help you keep the box patched, is there one? I would would like to hear from some solaris sysadmins on what software to use as a webserver. I have noticed there is one built in the /opt folder called Web ONE server but how does it stack up to apache? I am just looking to understand how its diffrent from linux. Any help in the updating process would be great.
