Any Dell DRAC4 Using running RHEL4 - Need Help
I have DRAC4 on my server and my server is running on RHEL4. The card work great on everything except when it come to virtual CDrom.
Everytime when I want to run anything from virtual CDrom, it will hang my server and I have to shut down and restart my server.
The dell engineer have change my DRAC card and even change the motherboard for me but I still get the same problem.
The funny part is, it can run the virtual CDrom on start up, ie, if I put say RHEL 4 CD on my virtual CDrom and restart my server, it will start up and go to RHEL 4 installation - meaning, it is reading the CD from my virtual cdrom.
But it won't work if RHEL 4 load and I login in as root and use the virtual cdrom.
Any ideas why? My RHEL 4 is updated with latest Kernel, other than that, we have the usual server hardening software installed on our server.
