mod_python/PSP on shared host
I got a question from a customer regarding mod_python and Python Server Pages, he was wondering if we could install it on one of our FreeBSD servers.
I don't feel like doing this since I don't now sh*t about Python
So Im asking you guys: Is running this on a shared host a bad idea...? Is it secure, stable, resource hungry, etc etc.
This server currently has a load average that lies between 0,8 and 1,3 today...so Im worried about installing something else on it that can cause trouble.
Python Server Pages seems to be in development so I guess thats out of the question:
Python Server Pages has been under development for several months and has been deployed in several Intranet sites. PSP is currently being evaluated for commercial viability in Internet e-commerce and portal sites.
But what about python/mod_python?
