IPB errors on Debian Sarge
Anyway I'm running a Debian Sarge box with VHCS2, php 4.3.10-16, mysql 4.1.11, and IPB 2.1.3. I'm having all sorts of errors (can't send private messages, skins don't work, when logging in it times gives errors in the php scripts) and IPB support can't figure out what the problem is. The IPB site was previously hosted with another company without problems in the IPB script (only in their quality of service). Has anyone else had problems with IPB running on Sarge with these versions of php and mysql? IPB's website claims it requires PHP 4.3+ and recommends mysql 4.x. It also says it wont work with v5 of php or mysql.
I really don't see how the bugs from IPB could be caused by my server, so that's why I'd like to know if anyone else has bugs with IPB on a similar configuration. Also if you have no problems on a similar configuration I would like to know that as well.
