Best OS for a dual opteron?

I have always used dual xeons, but will probably get a few dual amd-based (opterons most likely) servers. My question is, is there an OS that works better with a 64 bit server? I know there are SuSE 64 bit as well as RH 64, and even CentOS 64?

Right now I run Centos 4.2 on all of our linux machines, will this work fine and not cause any compatibility problems with a 64 bit processor?
