cPanel mod_security addon
cPanel offers two modsec.conf files, one (modsec.conf) is the main one and there is also a user configurable one that can be edited directly from WHM. There is a daily cron that is included with the addon package that will download and replace the current modsec.conf. However the file that is downloaded does not have the include reference to the user configurable file and I need to add this manually to get the custom rules to work.
My question is how to get cPanel not to replace the modsec.conf file? If I remove the cron will cPanel replace with the next update?
