Linux diagnostic tools...

I just built my first server for the purposes of colocation with the following specs:

Tyan GX28
2x AMD 250's
4x 1G DDR 400
4x 320G SATA II WD
Areca SATA II Raid

And I was wanting to run a full set of diagnostics on the system as well as benchmarks before installing it in the data center. I was hoping someone could recommend a good set of tools for linux. I did notice UnixBench mentioned here which I will run, but even if that settles my need for a benchmark, I still need diagnostics (i.e. memory).

I must admit that I haven't hunted much yet for this (google) and am going to start as soon as I post this note, but I have found in the past 4 months of research that invariably the information from everyone here is about 100 times more to the point and accurate for my purposes so would be interested in hearing what everyone here thinks.

Thanks.
