Setting up some hosting servers
th the external IP's.
Basically I want to assign an external IP address to one of my servers for s
ome webhosting and video conferencing applications.
My ISP has given me 5 external IP addresses but no more information. The com
puter is currently on a domain with an internal IP address. I have put an ex
tra NIC in the server and attached it to our switch.
Couple of questions
- Does this computer need to be on the domain with an internal IP address?
- What information do I need to enter for the subnet, gateway and dns settin
gs on the 2nd nic?
