rhnsd
i'm going through my linux (rh7.3) server, trying to remove all daemons which aren't necessary, and i was wondering if there was any reason why i should keep rhnsd around? it seems like the kind of thing that would only be useful on a local machine ("hey look, time for an upgrade"), but wouldn't be that useful (or even desirable) on a remote server. or have i got this wrong?this actually brings up another question: what's the best way to go about making sure that my server is the most up-to-date/secure version of rh7.3 that's out there? can anyone recommend a good resource for this?
thanks!
