Ddos
In the past 60hrs one of my servers is having a DDOS attack on it. its going to a website on the server to /robot.txt. Its no just one ip doing this but a **** load.. It had apache well over 3000 requests/sec. befor the server started acting up and getting mad
.. I changed the MaxClient command in apache and that doent really help ..
I ended up removing that ip address from the server which the site was using,, good thing they have a dedicated ip for that domain..
Is there a command in apache that i can set on the vhost for max connections?
do you have any other idea? other then talk to your ISP.. i tried 30hrs ago.. they are less then helpful
Im open to anyideas..
maybe i should DDOS them back
