Setting a CNAME alias
I have a domain name registered with Fasthosts and have a third party company providing the website on my behalf.
At present I have set my domain name to redirect to the third party website but this is far from ideal. What I would like is that when entering my domain name, the user goes direct to the third party site.
I have been told by the third party provider that I need to set a CNAME alias record to point my domain name to the third party site but I do not know how to do this.
Is there a facility in FASTHOSTS to setup a CNAME alias ? If there is then would anyone be able to give me a few pointers in the right direction.
If it is not possible from FASTHOSTS then what options do I have ? Should I move my domain name to a differnt host (someone recommended freeparking).
